Health professionals at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton and its five family health centers want to remind parents and guardians to include an annual well-child visit or a sport physical to their summer plans. New York State Department of Education requires an annual well-child visit for all students pre-K through 11th grade and all student athletes. During the visit, there is an opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns about a child with a physician. The annual well-child visit is also the time to update a child’s immunizations.
