Slocum-Dickson Medical Group (SDMG) recently welcomed physician Victor Martinez Zavala to the group. His addition brings the return of the plastic and reconstructive surgery department to the SDMG Business Park campus. His services will further Slocum-Dickson’s ability to provide comprehensive medical care to the Mohawk Valley community.
Zavala specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive care with a focus on precision, safety and natural results. He provides services such as rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, breast reconstruction, carpal tunnel and nerve decompression, Botox, dermal fillers and fat grafting for facial rejuvenation.
He earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He completed a general surgery residency through the University of Illinois at Chicago at the Metropolitan Group Hospitals and completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
“I believe that medicine, and plastic surgery in particular, is about more than procedures,” said Zavala. “It’s about restoring confidence, function, and quality of life.”
