Rome Health announced the addition of podiatrist Ayanda Dube to its specialty team. Dube brings a wealth of expertise in both surgical and conservative treatments for a wide range of foot conditions, enhancing the hospital’s commitment to comprehensive patient care.
Dube specializes in procedures such as bunionectomies, hammer toe corrections, ingrown toenail treatments, fusions for arthritic joints, and the removal of soft tissue masses or tumors within the foot. He also provides expert care for foot traumas, plantar fasciitis, and tendinopathies. “My goal is to offer personalized care, whether through conservative treatments or surgical solutions, to help patients regain mobility and comfort,” he said.
A familiar face at Rome Health, Dube previously worked in the hospital’s nuclear medicine department. “I always loved how Rome Health felt like a close-knit community with a shared goal of exceptional patient care,” Dube said. “Knowing this area lacked practicing podiatrists, I was eager to return and serve the community as a provider.”
Dube’s journey to podiatry was inspired by his time in medical imaging, where he developed a passion for doing more to serve patients. “I found podiatry to be a great field with options to provide both conservative and surgical treatments,” he explained. “It allows me to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives and the community.”
