Mohawk Homestead Program Receives Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Support

Excellus BlueCross BlueShield provides Mohawk Homestead with a $5,000 sponsorship to support the expansion of its medical transportation program. The Mohawk Homestead Transportation Program will provide transportation with insurance plans to community residents that do not qualify for Medicaid transportation and cannot afford private taxi fares. The Mohawk Homestead is located in the village of Mohawk and has been providing care to the elderly for 121 years.
