Victoria Cataldo has recently been appointed as the new executive director of the The Edwin J. Wadas Foundation, Inc.
She will serve as the main spokesperson for the organization and will represent the foundation in all professional and business capacities.
Cataldo has almost 15 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. She comes to the foundation from her most recent position as director of philanthropy for the Masonic Care Community in Utica. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Cortland and a Master of Science degree from D’Youville College.
“The Edwin J. Wadas Foundation plays a key role of improving the quality of life for youth in our community,” Cataldo said. “Youth athletic programs are incredibly important as they have both short- and long-term effects for those who participate. They teach life skills such as team building, sportsmanship and work ethic while providing numerous health benefits.”
The mission of The Edwin J. Wadas Foundation, Inc. is to enhance the experiences of recreational and athletic programs for youth aged 5-18 in Oneida and Herkimer counties by providing financial resources to qualified organizations and educational scholarships to participants.
